During In-Vehicle training students learn the ART of driving they will need to deal with risk on the road and how to respond safely and effectively.  Below are the important topics that Fanshawe Driving School instructors will cover during the in-vehicle sessions

* Due to unfortunate last minute cancellation or not showing up on scheduled appointment, there is a cancellation fee which would be apply. This is to help an accommodate maximum students. Personals emergencies  or weather conditions will be considered. 

How to Prepare for the In-vehicle Driving Sessions

  • Don't forget the date and time of your scheduled lesson. If you need to cancel your lesson  please call us to reschedule however we can not guarantee to accommodate you on your desired date and time. Giving us 24 hours notice would help us to accommodate other students .
  • Always carry your Drivers License with you. 
  • Cell Phone must be silent. 
  • Use your comfortable footwear during the session.
  • Stay relax! Our instructors professionals, we always have control of the vehicle ; we may control vehicle when needed for safety. 
  • If you feel sick (fatigue/ Illness /significant stress), we would recommend to  reschedule a lesson.
  • 0% Blood Alcohol / Zero marijuana use before the lesson. 
  • Be prepared for your upcoming lesson  Practice, practice, practice. 3-5 hrs is suggested, do your best.
  • Your feedback is important to us. Tell us: if you need help?
  • We will give you call or email you if there is any unfortunate situation occurs that may lead into cancellation of in car lessons like vehicle issues, illness or severe weather.  We will try our best to accommodate you asap!

How to maintain your BDE certificate for the insurance company ?

As of 2008, if you require proof of completion you will need to obtain a Driver License History (DLH) from the MTO for a fee of $12.  This is a Government issued document hence we do not have access to this info! However when we submit information to ministry we will update you on your registered email address.

The Student can visit any Service Ontario office in person with their Drivers License to have the certificate printed.
